MT ASPIRING HOLIDAY PARK RULES
GOOD BEHAVIOUR BOND AGREEMENT
We are a family-friendly Holiday Park and kindly ask you to respect a few house rules so that all guests can enjoy a
relaxing holiday. If any of these rules are breached, you may be required to leave the Holiday Park without refund. The Mt Aspiring Holiday Park team will guide you through the Health & Safety
House Rules that are in place throughout your stay. We greatly appreciate your respect for these guidelines, your
fellow
guests and our team.
Check-In and Check-Out

The Reservation Holder and all of their booked guests must register at Reception and provide ID

Office hours will change depending on demand and season. Call the office for the current hours

Check-in times will be:

Campsites 12pm - 6.30pm
- Accommodation 2pm - 6.30pm

If you will be arriving after 6.30pm, please advise so we can arrange a late arrival pack for you.
Check-out time is no later than 10am unless previously arranged with reception.

Entrance gates will be closed at night. The gate code will be given to you at check-in.
From 27 December - 03 January, the gates will be locked at 9pm (New Years Eve) and
10pm all other nights. Vehicles will be unable to enter and exit the Holiday Park after
these times until 5am
RESERVATION HOLDER FOR GROUPS (Non-Family)

The Reservation Holder must occupy the campsite/room and be onsite with their guests
listed in the original booking, for the duration of the contract

For campsites and accommodation in Peak Season (20 December - 20 January),
Public Holidays and Wanaka Event times, the Reservation Holder and the age of all of
their guests must be 25 years +

For campsites and accommodation outside of Peak Season (20 December - 20
January), Public Holidays and Wanaka Event times, the Reservation Holder and the age
of the group must be 21years +

For Group Bookings ie. non-family members, the Reservation Holder will be
responsible for the group’s good behaviour and compliance with the Holiday Park Rules

For Group Bookings ie. non-family members, the Reservation Holder will be required
to:

Show photo ID as proof of being the required age along with all other guests in
the group at the time of check-in. Unfortunately, if you are not able to show
acceptable proof of age, your booking will be cancelled and no refund will be
provided

The Reservation Holder will also be asked to sign a Good Behaviour Bond
Agreement. A credit card bond of $300 will be required at check-in
-
Evict the Reservation Holder and their guests, charge the card a $300 fee
plus any costs for extra cleaning or damage, without the authorisation of
the card holder. In this case any payment for further dates of stay will be
forfeit and the guests will be trespassed from the Holiday Park
STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOUR

Quiet time is from 10pm-7am

There is a NO PARTY policy in all rooms, campsites, communal facilities and within the grounds. There will be one warning only. If staff are called again, you will be asked to leave immediately
- Noisy, aggressive, abusive, intoxicated, anti-social behaviour or language is not permitted
anywhere in the park with a zero tolerance

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any of the rooms and communal facilities within the
Holiday Park - additional cleaning fees will be charged

No weapons or illegal drugs are permitted onsite at any time
- If evicted, the guests/person could be trespassed if found at Mt Aspiring Holiday Park again
- Please keep to a 5km speed limit when driving through the park and be mindful of children near the playground and facilities areas

If any behaviours are deemed unacceptable by staff and any security company employed by Mt
Aspiring Holiday Park, guests will be asked to leave the premises immediately with no refund of any remainder of the booking. Additional fees may be charged for any call outs or damages
Powered Sites
-
Campervans/caravans must have a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness and power leads must be a minimum of 10
metres.

Tents plugging into power can only use an approved and tested 'camping style' power cord (with 3 long round
pins), at least 10m long, with a safety RCD. Please make sure you have your WoF documentation and your tested,
tagged
power cord available for us to check if asked.

Power cords must stay within the boundaries of your site. You cannot connect vans or tents on multiple sites to
one
power source.

Management reserves the right to unplug any connection that does not comply with regulations.
- Generators are not permitted at any time.
Campervans/Caravans
-
Guests must provide their own waste container. Chemical toilets must be emptied in the dump station provided
opposite
powered site 26 (top of the Holiday Park).
Tents
-
Tents can only be installed on ‘site' – and not outside accommodation units.
-
Tents must not be joined together. There must be 1.5m between any 2 tents.
-
There is a maximum of 4 guests per campsite.
Parking
-
No parking of cars, boats or trailers outside of your site boundaries. This includes on the roadside,
neighbouring
sites
and ALL green spaces.

Parking is allocated for all accommodation (1 car per site/unit).

Boat storage is available by prior arrangement over Peak Season for a daily rate, otherwise parking is outside
of
the
-
Holiday Park grounds.
Pets in the Park
Visitors
- All visitors are required to sign-in at reception on arrival. Visiting hours are limited to office hours.
Visitor
Passes
will be issued at the discretion of the reception staff. Guests must collect all visitors from reception.

Any unauthorised person found in the Holiday Park will be asked to leave immediately and will be charged the
nightly
rate plus a $25 fine.

All visitors must park outside the Holiday Park and walk in after registration has been approved by reception.

Guests will be held responsible for their guest’s behaviour, as per behaviour standards for the Holiday
Park.
All
parties may be asked to leave, without refund, for non-compliance.
Cleaning/Damage

We would appreciate your respect for our property, and that you leave the accommodation and facilities in a
clean and
tidy condition.

Please notify Reception immediately of any breakages or damage to Holiday Park property. Management reserves the
right
to recover all costs where extra cleaning is required or for damages incurred.
HOT TUB and Swimming Pool
-
When using the Hot Tub or swimming in the outdoor pool, children must always be supervised by an adult at all times.
Maximum of 4 people in the Hot Tub during any booking.

No alcohol, drugs, narcotics, food, glass, or bubble bath is to be used whilst in the Hot Tub.

Please vacate the Hot Tub within your allotted time and leave the pool area as you would expect to find it. The key
must be
returned to the key box at reception.

If reception is closed and guests have a problem, please contact us by phone to discuss the problem.

Misbehaviour, leaving the Hot Tub in a poor condition will not be tolerated. If additional cleaning or presence is
required
during a pool booking a $50 fine will be issued
- Hot Tub and swimming pool operating times may change for seasons and maintenance
Bikes
-
Bike helmets are to be worn at all times by adults and children (this is New Zealand law). Adults, please
supervise
children on bikes, extra caution is needed as large caravans, campervans and trailers may be moving around the
grounds.
Rubbish
-
Keep NZ beautiful – please use recycling and rubbish bins provided throughout the Holiday Park.
